The ReVote Electronic Voting system allows Users to carry out all management operations of the Assembly work in a simple and intuitive way.
Participants can access the vote thanks to the Voting Terminals created with Tablets and Notebooks equipped with WIFI or 4G connectivity that connect to a private network.
The data connection between the Tablets and the Central Unit is encrypted with the TLS protocol to guarantee full voting security.
Council Members can interface with each other remotely thanks to Video Conferencing systems (Zoom) integrated into ReVote .
The Videoconference player allows you to follow and intervene in the debate.
The application integrates Zoom SDK into the main app on a Windows tablet device in kiosk mode (only our app can running on the tablet).
ReVote application is integrated and interacts exclusively with another system (Voting System by Eurel Informatica SpA), installed on premise and cannot be used stand alone as a classic app. User authentication occurs exclusively at the beginning of the process and on the Voting System authentication system.
The debate and voting session takes place as follows:
1) Initialization: The President opens the session from his Tablet set to manage the session.
2) Login: A screen for voter recognition opens on the Tablet Voting Terminal. The Council Member enters personal credentials and logs into the Voting System.
3) Orators: The system enters the "Speakers phase" for managing the debate. The debate participant can book "his speech" using the blue "Speech Booking" button on the tablet.
The President grants the "speech" based on the booking order or at his discretion by pressing the appropriate buttons on the Console Tablet.
If the speaker is in the council chamber, his microphone will be activated in the room, if the speaker is connected remotely, the microphone of his device will be activated via Zoom.
The speaker does not have the possibility to activate and deactivate his microphone himself, only the president can send these commands through the ReVote app.
The speaker can activate and deactivate the camera of his device at his discretion.
4) Voting: The President, from his Tablet, chooses the type of vote and presses the "Open" button. The screen that allows you to vote via the "virtual voting keyboard" appears on the Council Members' Tablet.
It is possible to express and/or modify your vote until the "Voting phase" is closed.
During the course of voting, a synoptic list of the votes, that are gradually cast, appears on the Tablet.
Once the voting operations have been completed, the President closes the vote and press "displaying the results" from his Tablet.
The Results and the outcome of the vote appear in real time on the Tablet Terminals of the Council Members.
